We Meet You,
Where You Are
A place where you are welcomed as you are, supported through the hard parts and celebrated for everything that makes you, you.
At The Place, we do therapy a little differently. We bring together neuroaffirming therapy, practical family support, creativity and genuine human connection to help people feel more confident, capable and connected in everyday life.
There are no one-size-fits-all plans here. We take the time to listen, understand what matters and work alongside each person and family to find support that feels useful, achievable and right for them.
Because everyone deserves more than a service. They deserve a place where they feel understood, valued and like they truly belong.
Neuroaffirming, Always
We recognise and celebrate the many different ways people think, communicate, learn, feel and experience the world. Our neuroaffirming approach is built on respect, curiosity and acceptance—without judgement, pressure to conform or the belief that anyone needs to be “fixed.”

Support That Fits You
There is no one-size-fits-all approach at The Place. We take the time to understand each person’s strengths, needs, goals and everyday life, then shape support around what genuinely matters to them and their family. Our work combines evidence-informed practice with creativity, flexibility and real-world understanding.

Sharing Knowledge, Building Confidence
We believe families, carers, educators and support teams should feel informed and confident—not left guessing. We share practical strategies, resources and education that make sense, feel achievable and can be used in everyday life.

Working Together Around the Whole Person
People are supported best when everyone is connected. Our allied health, family support and behaviour support teams work collaboratively with families, schools, support workers and other professionals to create more consistent, coordinated and meaningful support.

Belonging, Inclusion and Advocacy
We want every person to feel valued, included and able to participate in their community in ways that feel right for them. We advocate for greater understanding, more inclusive environments and systems that make space for difference—because everyone deserves to be heard, respected and to have a place where they belong.
